A side project to the regular 3 piece line up the bassless 2 piece has performed twice under the working name "mini".Taking tips from musique concrete, noise, ambient, dub, the result is quite different from the 3 piece's sound.

Been recording for our upcomming CD work in progress TBA...???

Tracked 2 songs late April at Peace Music, Tokyo. Unfortunately, our first day of recording was almost completely used up just trying to get to the studio!

The train we had to take to get there was stopped for most of the day due to a stray WWII bomb that was found underground by a construction crew digging near the train tracks.

We were 2 stations away from the studio, and had all our gear....too far to walk, we planned to catch a taxi....oh, but wait, so did all the other thousands of people who got stranded....

It was total chaos around the station...people waiting for buses, cramming onto them like sardines. We opted to walk to the next station and hope for fewer people, and better chances of catching a taxi.

But, all taxis were full, and the clock was ticking, so we called up our super dooper engineer man Mr. Souichiro Nakamura, and he came to the rescue in his rockin stationwagon.

Finally arrived at the studio, and began to set up. By that time most of the day was gone, and we called it a early night.

The next day, we got in there on time, and started rolling. Tracked 2 songs "La Poste Heart" and "Hanging On the Wall".

Working again with producer You Ishihara, he rolled up his sleeves, and began chopping, slicing, dicing, cuisinarting in a way our songs into final pieces. He even made a guest keyboard appearence on one track.

Nao got to explore the vast "Effector Graveyard Vault" which is a floor to ceiling collection of some of the world's greatest most obscure vintage/handcrafted guitar effects boxes.

Nishino got his hands dirty rummaging thru the "Box of Percussive Playtoys" and found a Mallet the size of a tennis ball to use on "La Poste Heart".
